About Me

Hi there! 

I'm a freelance reporter and graduate journalism student at Northwestern University's Medill School, where I specialize in investigative reporting. I have a background in education journalism and work across multiple formats including audio, video and written content. 

Based in Chicago, I have written about everything from student loan debt and childcare access to community health  and avian influenza. No story is off the table. 

I produce the kind of journalism I want to read -- in-depth, accurate and audience-focused. The subjects that resonate with readers are often the ones left out of mainstream news.  These are the kinds of stories that need be written.
